BRAND MARKETING AND CONTENT STRATEGY
Much like its flower arrangements, the House of Lilac brand came together organically. After two years in business, the founder was interested in expanding her reach, increasing loyalty and raising capital. I collaborated with internal and external teams to build a cohesive brand and content strategy to support company goals.
Copy deliverables included taglines, product descriptions, event invitations, PR materials, email flows, social media content, advertisements and video scripts. Marketing deliverables included brand audits, market research, strategy, promotions, ad campaigns, events, PR and marketing collateral.
Results included $50k in funds raised, a 130% increase in annual sales, media placements in national outlets such as Forbes, Reader’s Digest, PureWow and a streamlined marketing department.

To boost social media engagement, I collaborated with internal and external teams to conceptualize and produce an HGTV-style makeover series with the brand’s signature flowers. The 3-part series yielded a 40% engagement rate and increased reach by 15%.
VIDEO CAMPAIGN
redefine valentine’s day
To promote the Valentine’s Day collection, I worked with Sisi Smit to produce a video campaign encouraging customers to buck the holiday norms and gift better. The campaign included video teasers, giveaways and ads, which yielded over 30% engagement and exceeded sales goals.
CROWFUNDING VIDEO

To finance upcoming marketing and operational costs, I worked with the founder and Sisi Smit to write and produce a video for IFundWomen.com, a crowdfunding platform for women. The video, combined with a robust social media and email campaign outperformed a fundraising goal of $50k.
